Especially causing some issues on release due to the rush to get the new release.

For those unfamiliar with the MPC, but who’s kidding if you’re here and reading this, AKAI is a renowned brand in the world of music production. Known for its powerful and intuitive hardware and software solutions. The MPC STEMS feature takes this legacy to the next level, offering a range of benefits that will surely elevate your beat-making workflow experience (if you are in controller mode…for now).

Stems

What is it and where?

With the push of a button, due to the STEMS feature, you’ll have the ability to separate individual elements of your tracks. Such as drums, basslines, melodies, and vocals. This level of control allows you to manipulate and fine-tune each element independently, giving you endless possibilities for creativity and experimentation. The feature is currently only available in controller mode. For those that want it in standalone, it sounds like it’s coming, but the question will be when. In the meantime, you can save down your separated STEMS and then open the project in standalone to use them there. After first separating them in the MPC software with controller mode.

Sample Seamlessly

Whether you’re a seasoned producer or just starting out, the MPC STEMS feature is a game-changer. Its arrival on March 26 is something to celebrate, as it promises to revolutionize the way beat makers create and collaborate in the AKAI DAW. Get ready to unleash your creativity and take your music production skills to new heights with AKAI’s MPC STEMS feature!
